Expose – Word Prompt by Fandango

Sarah wanted to expose her husband’s killer, but nobody would believe her. He was a well respected, admired and powerful man. She was just a food critic playing at being a reporter.

She learnt of the best “Nancy Drew”. As a child she was given a braille copy of The Sky Phantom. She loved all the twists and turns and from that moment on wanted to be a detective. It wasn’t to be, a career in the police force needed her to be able to see.

It was the first time a road was closed to her. Before that she found another way to succeed. When she wanted to play golf, like her father, they looked into it together. Now her average was 90.

Yet, she wasn’t going to give up on exposing him for what he was. A liar, and the man who murdered his best friend.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
