An answer to Fandango’s question #FPQ

I’m not sure, but my husband is totally my opposite in many ways. I am normally the glass half full sort of person. If something goes wrong I will try and find solutions to the problem. I won’t give up until I can at least find a way through the fog. My husband is a half glass empty sort of person, when something goes wrong he will always imagine the worst scenario and go with it. He will only see the problem and will often give up before he has tried.

But, we work well together – brilliantly in fact. We are a team of two halves, who have been married for thirty-four years. When I’m in full solution mode, he will accept my ideas. When he’s in grumpy mode (Donald Duck is his spirit animal) then I can help him get past that.

So, in answer to your question opposites do attract, but underneath we are the same. We are both caring people who would never see anyone in harms way, and both believe in family. We have brought up our children to be kind, caring, and never judge others. In that way we are the birds that flock together.
