VR360 Plays

Today I was sent the link for tickets to be purchased for a project I have been honoured to be a part in. On February 9th my play, with four other talented writer’s plays, will be viewed on VR360 headsets at my local entertainment centre.

It all feels so real now, and I have been so lucky to be part of a group of amateur writers and directors. We have learnt so much off the professionals who work at the cube. It has been an amazing experience, where we have all worked incredibly hard to produce something we are all proud of.

From the writing, to the editing, to our finished plays, I have enjoyed every second.

Who would have known, when I joined a playwright class a couple of years ago, I would be awaiting my first premier. I am excited, but a little nervous too. I would much prefer to behind my keyboard writing, instead of being in the front row. I am rather shy, but I cannot deny the achievement, not just by myself, but all the other writers and directors too.

I’m glad I took the chance and joined this wonderful playwright group. I am now a commissioned writer, and I couldn’t be more proud.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
