The jagged cliff’s malleable clay feared the storm surge stealing more of its coastline. Soft rock, and the sand proved no defence against the raging winds. Battered, bruised, and another metre of land was lost to the surging seas.
The caravan park, once with hundreds of homes, now struggled with thirty.
With each storm, and high winds, the onslaught of the deadly, destructive waves tore apart the cliff like it were tissue paper. Nothing would stop the power of weather. Mother nature, furious with human kind, taking back the land, and reversing the damage to her beautiful world.
Stone statues offered some protection. They stood tall like soldiers, but even they were mere stumps in the water. Soon, the caravan park would have to be forced to move inland. An aggressive wind knew no bounds, and nothing would stop mother nature’s fury.
There is a town called Happisburg in the UK, which loses part of its coastline every year. Also, in the Isle of White, Black Clang Chine, a theme park, is slowly falling into the sea. The issue is an east facing wind, and soft rock. Tonight, in England, we are having storm warnings and much of the coastline is under threat.
