Harmony

My take on https://emkingston.wordpress.com/author/emkingston/

Susie ran into the forest, chasing his favourite yellow ball. It was the best game ever. He loved being free of his lead, and not having the restriction placed on his fun.

The harmony of the wind rushing through the trees, and the wind through his ears, was the most amazing experience ever. He picked up his ball, and ran back to his owner, who looked as happy as he was.

”Another go boy!’ Mary said, throwing the ball as far as she could.

It was a great game, and hours will pass by in the spring sunshine. A little bit of harmony in a world which rushes from one moment to another in the blink of his eyes.

If she could talk human, she would have shouted, ”yes, throw the ball, throw the ball! Instead she barked, until the ball rushed through the air and into the trees. Susie loved playing this game, and her human too.

When they got home, she would lay beside him, and perhaps get some chicken as a treat.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
