Good Luck

Good luck, only five miles away.

I don’t mind going a steady forty-five miles per hour to get there. My old banger of a car needs a bit of that. The road travelled, and Bad Luck was behind me now. I needed to have something go right; just for once.

Sometimes it isn’t as simple as one road against the next turning.

It would be nice to have good luck; perhaps I could start breathing in the morning rather than the same old worries enveloping my mind. A tap on my gear stick, and I am moving.

Good luck, I will travel to your safe place one day.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
