Sunday

Sunday, a day of relaxation.

Sometimes life gets busy, and we don’t realise it until we actually stop.

It is a beautiful day today, the sun is shining, and early this morning I took my dog, a German Shephard, Rottweiler Titan, and our recently arrived Jack Russell, Molly. At first I was nervous about taking them both out. Now, they walk really nicely together.

Molly is definitely in charge, while my dog acts like a henpecked husband. We have to make sure he is fed separately, otherwise she will steal his food. We were worried he would be aggressive, but he is lovely with her.

It is too hot to walk with them in the middle of the day – if you cannot put your foot on without shoes, neither can the dog. It was really early this morning, when I took them for their first walk and I won’t go out again until the weather is cooler.

This year we are going to invest some money in my garden. Hopefully by the end of the month I will be able to sit outside. It would be good to have some sort of place I can just chill in.
