PROMPT WORD:  SECURITY

‘It’s all a matter of security, I mean organising a toddler party can hold all sorts of problems.’

It wasn’t just the gate at the side, which needed fixing, but their garden faced a large field. She wouldn’t put it past her granddaughter’s friend Toby to climb it. Perhaps they needed a risk assessment, like they did at work.

‘I tell you what, we’ll have the party at Macdonald’s, at least they will sort out the food, and Toby will be happy because it is his favourite meal.”

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
