It is important, in this digital age, to remember that recording our time together must never overshadow spending time with family. We are baby sitting our granddaughter, while my daughter and her partner go on a date night, watching a film and having dinner.
She is currently watching Paw Patrol and has told me her favourite character is Sky, a helicopter flying member, who also happens to be a girl. Good role model. We will make some dinner, perhaps some pudding and it is great spending time with her. Especially because next week she will be spending two weeks with her other grandparents.
We are lucky, and spend all the time with her, but it will be a long two weeks.
So, instead of recording the time spent together, go out, watch a film, go to the park. Make memories, because they are better than any recording.
Good point 🩷
