Smiling

Questions from https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2023/07/24/share-your-world-24th-july/ and https://fivedotoh.com/2024/07/26/fandangos-flashback-friday-july-26th/

1.  What makes you smile at the drop of a hat? Being around my family, and laughing with them. My children, my grandchildren, will always make me smile.
2. What makes you angry? When someone talks behind your back, or about someone else in a horrible way. None of us are perfect, and neither are the people who gossip.
3. What saddens you? The way we treat the world, and climate change. We don’t listen to advice. There are fires in Greece because it is far too hot. There are ways to stop this from happening, but people don’t use common sense.
4. What do you find most frustrating?
The top one percent of people, with more money than they can use, don’t help find the solution to fix our planet. I learnt in school that they have more money than 99% of the world combined.

I am grateful for the love of my family, and I will always be there to keep them safe.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. I don’t think it’s entirely up to the rich to save the planet. Bill Gates is certainly trying. It is actually up to each one of us and our governments to do more. Sometimes it seems like it is just a losing battle but if we all did our bit I believe we could make a difference
