‘It is an appeal to all my classmates to recycle more,’ Alice said.
‘So, how are you going to get them to help out?’
Alice looked at the plastic cups from the side, and put them in her school bag. ‘We use so many bottles. I thought if I filled the cups at break time they would use them less. ‘
It was a nice thought – even at three years old, her granddaughter was thinking of others, and not herself. She was right, plastic bottles were used way too much. Perhaps it was time to get better use of her day.
She brought out her packed lunch – today she was going to learn from her granddaughter, that way she would see the earth survive longer.
