‘Details are important,’ Ernie said, scanning his Christmas contract.

‘I will not con you; I wanted it all legal like. You don’t get how many elves leave after one session because of all the overtime.’

Dressed in his comfortable scarlet, the big man handed over his special rainbow pen. Yes, he knew the hours were long, but at least he paid more than minimum wage and he gave away free cookies.

‘Where do I sign?’
