Sweet Tooth

  1. I would prefer to buy because I am no good at baking. I follow recipes, but it never ends well. Even when I am using a cake mix, I can mess that up too. Besides, why have shops that sell delicious bite sized sugar if we needed to do our own. I do enjoy the process of baking. When I am doing this with my granddaughter it is fun teaching her about numbers, and reading is part of the fun. I did the same with my children. The talent for baking skipped a generation, and she makes the most amazing muffins and pastry.
  2. I am lucky as I have free meals at work. I tend to have a light meal at work and a main meal in the evening. My husband will cook for me, as I am working all day and he is retired.
  3. I have a sweet tooth, and it is the one thing I struggle with when dieting. I love carrot cake, biscuits, cheesecake, apple pies, and the list goes on. I have high cholesterol and having to cut down. I am finding it difficult to stick to a healthy plan.
  4. I detest prawns and anything similar. I hate the smell and the texture of both. I used to dislike lettuce, but I will eat it if I have to. Liver, another bad memory of school, and I detest the tough, leathery taste.

I am grateful for love; my husband, brother, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. 😊

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. We would get along well, Diana. I’m not a fan of anything with claws or pinchers. I love sweets, and I have high cholesterol, but I take a statin that seems to control it. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
