Should religion (or spiritual intelligence) influence how we use AI? Religious thought and practice? Are the two things be totally unrelated to each other? Should something else guide how we use AI?

I’m not sure that religion, or politics, should influence AI. It has to be programmed by a human,who will automatically give them their view. Whether it has the ability to make up its own mind, is another troubling addition. This is an idea we have only really considered in the last year. Personally, I find the growth frightening.

I am old enough to watch all the Terminator films. It might not happen in the present, but in a few years it will be able to think for itself. There are many

programs today, which can write without any human intervention.

In addition to this, when you call a company, it takes forever to talk to a human being. There are even chat bots online instead of having a proper conversation about your issues. I was hold for forty minutes to speak to an advisor, by which time I gave up.

Politics and Religion are different in every person, so AI should not be any different.

  2. I here you. Inevitably, human-generated content, which has influences from religion and politics, will influence AI development. But to make a concerted effort to try to program AI (and I’m probably using the wrong vocabulary because I am not tech-savvy at all) from a particular religious or political viewpoint seems ill-conceived.
