School holidays are near
bringing with it Christmas cheer,
sparkly jumpers we will wear
on the last day.
School holidays are near,
bringing with it a constant fear,
a pasted on smile we will wear
on the last day.
What presents will Santa bring?
presents fit for a king,
Festive cheer they will sing
on Christmas day.
No presents under the tree.
What type of day will it be?
Violence they don’t want to see.
Just another day.
