Grateful

I am blessed with the love of my family. If there is a celebration, we have all been part of it. If any of us are in trouble, we extend our support to them. I was brought up in a loving environment. My big brother is amazing. Being the youngest, he is the one I go to when I need advice, and a good long chat.

My sister passed away a few years ago, but I have happy memories of her life. With a sixteen-year age gap, she was similar to a second mum. A classy lady, I count myself lucky.

My son and daughter have grown into adults, who are caring, and understanding of others. I am so proud. My granddaughter is only four, but she has a way of sharing her laughter, and making me smile. I also have a grandson who is sixteen years old.

I am so proud.

I have had so many pets and thought myself a cat person, until my first dog. German Shephards, are incredibly intelligent. Loyal, affectionate, and the ultimate protector.

Safe, warm, and I never feel as if I am going to lose my home. My family live in a place where there are no wars.

I have a lot to be thankful for.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
