Food Days

Were you aware that the chain trademarked the phrase “Taco Tuesday”, Taco John’s? No, and I didn’t know, last year they relinquished their trademark. I would imagine it is petty to sue someone just for the name, but Disney does it all the time. Tacos taste delicious.

Do you think any other food-themed days should be implemented?

Full English Brekkie Monday (eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans, mushrooms, and a cup of tea).

Spag bol Tuesday .

Freshly made pizza Wednesday (ham and pineapple).

Take out Thursday (Sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice, with prawn crackers).

Has to be fish Friday (In the UK, schools still serve this and based on the four loaves and five fishes).

Steak bake Saturday (with a latte)

Roast Dinner Sunday (beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and lots of gravy.

Treacle Pudding Sunday – Cannot have a main without a treat. I do not share, and a jug full of custard.

All prepared by my husband during the week, as I go to work all day. The weekend we share the cooking. I clean the dishes.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
