1. How many times have you been a patient in hospital? Four. The first was when I was having a bone broken in my nose. I suffered with dust allergies, and would wake up sneezing. I had a bandage type material stuffed inside and hated having to breathe through my mouth. The other two was when I had m children. I was in ten days when after giving birth to my daughter. She was nine pounds and one ounce, but wasn’t putting on weight. I also spent some days before because my iron levels were low. With my son I was out the next day.
2. Did you notice any differences with your experiences? Yes, when I was pregnant, the meals they served were a more agreeable, but once she was here, there were instances when I didn’t know what it actually was.
3. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being good and 1 being poor, how would you rate food choices, and separately on the same scale, quality? One and that would be pushing it. A bit like school dinners, where the ingredients are cheaper and made in bulk.
4. How long were you in for? In between one and ten days.
Gratitude: We don’t pay for our NHS in the UK. If are ill, we can receive treatment without worrying about the cost.
Thanks for joining in Diana. I’m in the UK and there were marked difference in my stays. The food was bland and tasteless., and a lot smelt funny.

I don’t pay for my medical care either, I am on disability so have what we call a medical card that entitles us to free hospital treatment, free gp services, dental care, etc.
