Do I have a lucrative hobby?

When I mention I am a writer, most people will think it is a hobby. For me it isn’t. I might not earn much out of it or have any fame attached, but that doesn’t mean it is any less of a job. It is mostly just unpaid.

Recently volunteering for my local entertainment centre. There are two reasons. I want to gain experience in something else before I retire. The other is because I love being in that environment.

I like anything creative, whether it is diamond art, paint by numbers, but I do them just for fun. .

So my answer has to be no.
