Gremlins

Did you know it doesn’t matter how much you pay for a car, it can still go wrong?

Three weeks ago, we acquired our Chevrolet Orlando, and the price was expensive. Today, we discovered that a leak exists somewhere in the water system. If the radiator is at fault, the warranty does not cover the cost of repair. How do we ascertain it wasn’t present already? I am hoping that the pipe is cracked. We are going through the insurance regardless, so at the very least we will understand what is happening.

This is more than a sentence, and a bit of a rant, but the window wiper motor isn’t working either; at least that is covered.

I reckon we have gremlins and they need to stop tinkering about with our stuff.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. In 2004, Hubby and I bought 2 new Suzuki Altos. They were the same colour, but didn’t have consecutive number plates. Mine ran sweet as a nut, Hubby’s broke down all the time, including when we were away and we had to come home using a recovery service. The garage admitted there was a fault as per the on board computer, but it was intermittent so a bitch to find.
Less than a year old and exceedingly uncomfortable as a back passenger or on a long trip, we put both cars in P/X against my Peugeot 206 in 2005. I had that for 10 years and loved it as it served me well.
