1.  Do you like decorating or would you prefer to have someone come in and do it for you if you could afford it?

I don’t mind, and decorated most of my house when we moved out six years ago. My new place needs painting. I would love to hire a decorator, but will end up doing it ourselves. Recently I painted my granddaughter’s wooden playhouse. (My painting doesn’t get better with age).

2.  Do you prefer papered or painted walls in your home?

Both are fine, but wallpaper is a pain putting up and taking down.

3.  Where do you go when you want to be alone or have some quality Me Time?

In the bathroom, having a nice bubble bath and a good book. Nobody bothers me there, and I can have an hour to myself.

4.   If you buy a treat for yourself (say a box of chocolates or a bottle of wine) do you like to share?

I rarely drink, but chocolate is a favourite. When my cholesterol is high, I have to be careful. Yes, I would share.

Gratitude: Being a mum is something I am proud of. They have grown up so quickly. My granddaughter starts full time school this year, and it only seemed like yesterday I watched her being born.
