A silver Saint Christopher

kept in my purse,

a beautiful reminder

like a wonderful verse

his love remains.

Red Roses in my garden

his favourite flower

a beautiful reminder

in an honourable hour

his love remains.

I grow old without him,

yet he is always around

a beautiful reminder

his love was sound

my love remains.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
