Boat Ride

  1.  Would you consider yourself creative (writing, projects, hobbies etc)Writing is something I have always wanted to do. I am not much of an artist, but I like paint by numbers. When my granddaughter was a baby I knitted many baby hats, and blankets.
  2.  What is the ‘bravest’ thing you think you have ever done (faced a fear, stood up for someone/something, etc)It isn’t the bravest thing, but on holiday, we paid to go on a boat ride to see some seals. Only, I didn’t realise it was a speed boat. It took two men to help me. I gripped on to the rails, and only relaxed about five minutes into the journey. I didn’t want to show my fear in front of my granddaughter. On the way back they did doughnuts. Where the boat is driven around in circles, which made the speed boat dip further. My grip tightened and didn’t stop until they did. Although, I am glad I faced my fear, because the views were amazing.
  3.  If you were to come into a substantial amount of money, what would you do with it?

I would buy my son and daughter a house of their own, put some money in a bank account for my grandson and granddaughter, donate money to The Heart Foundation, Cancer, and Alzheimers. I haven’t seen my bestie since I was fifteen. She moved to America with her family. I would love to see her again.

  1. If something were annoying you, what would you like to do? I would tell people to pick up their rubbish from the beach.
  2. Gratitude I am grateful I have a home, which is fully paid for.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
