Final Journey

Journey little one

Journey to heaven

heaven is where he is

heaven, his warmth awaits

waiting since he said goodbye

waiting to let you eat off his plate again.

Not sure if this fits the prompt, but my son’s Jack Russel Molly passed away today. She was fifteen, but it was still unexpected. Her previous owner, my brother-in-law, died two years ago. I am glad we took her in. She was a character, and we will miss her barking at the neighbours.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
