Sarah is such a flibbertegibbet

her confused mother used to say.

She always has a ridiculous hobby

and it never ends in a good way.

Last month she learnt dancing.

A tango with a terrible twist

She sold all her exotic ballgowns

when her partner badly missed.

After many months in a cast.

Would that hobby be her last?

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
