When facing challenges in my life, I push through.
I am not very good at admitting I need support.
When I was a teenager, I shared my problems with my dad. He listened, and his advice helped me through a traumatic time. He would remind me not to worry about things I couldn’t control. To believe in myself and not take all the blame.
I would like to say, as I have aged, it has been easier.
Probably not, but I have a better understanding of why. All I know is, whatever problems I face, I will trust in friendship and family.
Thanks for sharing Diana. I too used to ask for advice from my father on everything. Parents are so sincere and understanding. Hugs

Such understanding is full of wisdom and courage, Diana. Trust takes both, I think, and love. Lotsa love.

It’s important to cultivate good friendships and relationships with family. They provide good nets for when we need the help that we later turn around and give back. Lovely response. 👏🏽
