‘Whatever the distance, our roots will always be strong,’ her dad said, holding her hand.
‘I cannot get used to being so far away, but I can’t stay here. The consultant says my sight isn’t getting any better. There are so many memories at home, and I don’t feel like I am going to recover in my house.’
Sarah looked at the floor and scraped her shoes against the dirt. His vegetable patch, an array of green and yellow, wandered along the soil, sharing the love. In a few days, he would harvest the tomatoes so they could ripen in the warm kitchen.
In his garden, she felt at peace.
Mother Nature watched over her children in a merge of hope and new dreams.
She slipped her arm into his, and she smiled.
Okay, this freaked me out ad comforted me at the same time… This is the 3rd anniversary of my poppa’s transition, and I begged him to come to me today. That was hours ago, my crisis passed and I opened my email to see this post. Thank you so much! He is my hero, and I just got a HUGE hug from him! ❤
