I broke my front tooth when I ate a hard sweet.
Anything chewy; I avoid now.
I work at a school, and some teenagers found it funny when I was trying to help them with their work. However, I looked strange, with a gap where the tooth should have been.
There aren’t many NHS dentists taking on new customers, but I found a private dentist willing to take on new clients. I wasn’t sure the filling would work, but he did a brilliant job.
I have my smile and confidence back.
I find it interesting that NHS dentists get to choose how many clients they have. Everyone should have access to a dentist.

I agree, but at least we have the NHS rather than all private.

NHS dentists are few and far between. We’ve just managed to sign on with one but I have to be honest, my first appointment was very short and far from thorough.

Glad you could get your tooth fixed. I broke one of my front bottom teeth out when I was a kid, and they put a silver cap on what was left of it. I had that silver tooth for many years. 🙂

I hear you, Diana. I went around with a “Hee-Haw” (broken) tooth for months before I was able to get it fixed. How awful it is so hard to find a dentist!

He did a good job, nobody would notice now.

Great news about fixing your tooth, but sad no more chewy brownies!
