Memory of a Fish

‘I have the memory of a fish, and can remember what happened years ago, but not what I had for breakfast yesterday. To be honest it is a little worrying, but I cannot share it with my children.’

Doctor O’Donnell wished there could be a cure for dementia.

This young woman, in her early forties, could just be run down, or stressed, but he owed it to her to give the best medical advice.

‘Can you tell me when you first noticed your memory loss?’ he said.
