Sorrento

In a month’s time, I am flying to Sorrento.

I am looking forward to my first trip on an airplane. When I go on fairground rides, as long as I am strapped in safely, I am not scared, and it must be a similar feeling in the air.

Also, there are more accidents on the road.

So, with my passport, suitcase full of new clothes, and excitement about my future trip, I am counting down the hours until I encounter a new country, and hopefully not bring the drizzle. A needed holiday with my husband – that’s worth smiling about.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
