Share our Music

1.  Do you play a musical instrument? I used to play the violin (badly) and the recorder. I belonged to a music club at secondary school. I am not good at singing and my children often told me to stop.
2.  Is there an instrument you wish you could play? Not really.
3.  Can you read music? Sort of, but only at children level.
4.  Do you have a favourite memory that involves music? I love listening to music, even though I don’t have that talent myself. My favourite singer is Bon Jovi, and Living on a Prayer. Certain songs remind me of family. Sweet Caroline and Abide with me always make me cry.

Gratitude:

I am thankful for the music (a song I used to listen to as a child) and the song I’m singing. Whether it is a happy or sad memory, it takes me back to the person I remember with love.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
