Sunday Life – Too hot!

Took my dog out early for a walk today. It is far too hot to walk him during the day – the concrete will be far too hot. I’m melting just sitting in the front room, let alone moving about.

We are wimps when it comes to hot or cold weather in the UK. We are just not used the extremes in temperature. Rain we can cope with, but anything over thirty and we cannot cope. Three inches of snow, and the whole country is at a standstill.

I will read more of Sweet Entanglement today, but apart from that I’m not sure. I will probably raid the fridge for ice and get someone else to cook dinner today. My daughter has just rung me, so we will put the pool out today.

Sounds like a plan.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
