For Prompt #100 – What Do You See?

I see days gone by, when my children were young. We used to take our old dog Scamp on walks in a park near where we lived. Scamp loved being off lead, and most of the time jumped in the lake. Although we had to avoid the fishermen on one side.

They are grown up now, but I still remember those days with fondness. We would go deep into the woodlands, throw a ball, and let them all run off steam. As a treat we would buy an ice-cream each.

I love the idea that even in a big town, there is always countryside just a few minutes away. It is why I love living in the UK so much. I think we have the most beautiful scenery. We can step into another world before we join the rat race once again.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
