Another Prompt, Another Post

QUESTIONS

(Two ‘seasonal’ and two plain today)

What is the scariest game (board or on-line) you ever may have played?

Probably Monopoly. Hours of fun, hotels and arguing who rolled a five instead of a four. Discussions with my nephew about cheating (both of us were both as bad) and me losing all my money. (No change there then)

What’s just ‘over the rainbow” for you?

My play is being filmed this week, and I am a commissioned author.

Do you have to watch something upbeat after watching a suspense or horror movie so you can go to sleep?

I find watching horror movies ludicrous before I go to sleep. I made that mistake with one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Won’t be doing that again. I remember thinking it is only nine o’clock. It won’t be that bad. (I was wrong)

Is there intent behind every action?

Not every action, some things are said without realising.

GRATITUDE SECTION  (as always, optional)

I am grateful for my family, we might not see each other very often, but they are always in my thoughts.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. In the Navy, and on a couple of boats I crewed on we played “cheaters” Monopoly. Basically, you could do anything you could get away with, but if you were caught there were severe penalties. Just like the saying ” different ships, different long splices” different ships or boats have different rules and penalties – some very creative, and some obscene.
