#Fandango’s Provocative Question

FPQ

Do you agree that human suffering can be beneficial and that suffering is a necessary part of the human condition? Why or why not?

I don’t agree that human suffering can be beneficial, but it happens like it or not.

Even when life is going by fairly smoothly, there will always be an obstacle we need to sort out before we can carry on. Most of the time you can handle the trouble that causes, but there are times when you want to scream ”No more!”.

I’m not perfect, nobody is, and I do try and make sure I am not responsible for anyone else’s suffering. I have learnt a lot of my children, in the way they interact with other people, and show understanding/compassion when dealing with other people, in the hope they will do it for me.

Sometimes it is the little things we can do to ease someone’s suffering. If there is a homeless person, you pass every day, then go and buy them something to eat and drink. If someone wants to talk, then spend the time talking to them.

We can all make a difference in someone’s life and ease their suffering.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
