
‘Bite down,’ the dentist said.
She hadn’t been in the chair since she was a child and the dentist came at her with a needle so large, she broke the ten second hundred metres to get out of there. If it wasn’t for the immense pain crashing around her veins she wouldn’t be here now.
Hands trembled as she bit down on the thin sheet of plastic.
‘I’m scared of needles,’ she blurted out all at once.
The dentist smiled, and immediately moved out of the room. A picture of her teeth would reveal the true depth of the damage.
Gawd…Fandango should give us nicer less-threatening words to play around with….
