Favourite World

Questions

Do You Prefer Salty Foods or Sweet Foods? I prefer sweet food rather than savoury. I do pick up biscuits, or cake rather than crisps. Although I do like sweet chilli crisps. I like cheesecake, and treacle pudding with lots of ambrosia custard.

Would you rather be in a place where it is excessively hot or excessively cold? If it is too hot, there isn’t much to cool you down. But on a winter’s day you can go inside, put the heating on, and have a hot drink.

Favorite Mode of long distance travel (Bus, Plane, Train, Automobile, or other). I have never been on a plane, but I think I would rather travel by train. You can read on a train, and not worry. I am more relaxed on a train. When I travel by car I worry about the car breaking down.

What was your favorite holiday growing up? (You can also use american holidays or appropriate holidays from your country) My favourite holidays growing up was when we went to Margate. We used to spend the days on the beach, making sandcastles, and the evenings we went to a show, or watched wrestling, or when on rides. We would end the evening with a Horlicks. A malted hot drink, and chips. We always stayed in a guest house, where we had breakfasts and evening meals cooked for us. You meet some brilliant people on holiday, especially in guest houses.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Love your answers. I’m the same way as you with the hot vs cold…. Only so much you can do to cool down. The few times I traveled by train I had a great time (been years though).
