That October Feeling

In October I am going to post one autumn picture a day.

For the first it will be a stock image, but from tomorrow, I will take a picture, to show how the colours undergo a transformation. Summer leaves are beautiful, but there is something special about Autumn. Whether it be the crisp air, or the colourful leaves, or even Halloween.

It is my daughter’s favourite time of year. She has three boxes of Halloween decorations, which easily rival her Christmas decorations (perhaps more) She can’t pass a T K Max without popping inside to see what new products are on sale. It is a dangerous time of year – especially for me.

My first picture is when the leaves are just about to turn golden. There is still a green hue, but just like a caterpillar to a butterfly, something amazing is about to happen.

All I can say is – watch this space.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
