1.  Do you have a lot of friends or do you know a lot of people ?

I don’t have a lot of friends, but the ones I do have are amazing. My bestie, Theresa, has been my friend since I was twelve. Even though we live in different countries, our friendship is still something I treasure. Facebook, Whats app has helped me keep in contact with friends from work and in my writing group.
2.  If you are at a party and know very few of the guests, do you mingle and introduce yourself, sit on the sidelines and people watch, or discreetly leave? I’m shy, so I would not speak to people, unless they speak to me. Once I do get talking, I’m okay. If I am in a group, I find it easier, but talking to one other person and I do struggle.
3.  What is the best job you have ever had? The best job I ever had was writing my play. I am a commissioned writer, and have been paid to write the play. I loved being part of the writing, editing, discussions with fellow writers, directors, actors. If I could do that as a full time job, I would. VR360 was an amazing venue. I was so proud that actors read my words, created something I will always be proud of. I had an opening night. The whole experience was amazing. It was only with my local theatre, but it can still be found on You Tube – if you type in The Kingswood Beast, Corby Cube.
4.  Can you swim? I can doggy paddle, but wouldn’t be any good in the sea.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
