A thread of an idea, written in biro, in a book full of mistakes. Now, typing out the words, looking back at your old writing self. Why did she bother? Slow, she twists her words, watering them. Somehow, something beautiful transformed her weed into a beautiful rose. Yes, there may be thorns, but she could prune it back into a novel she could submit to publishers.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
