Neighbours

Today from https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2023/06/12/share-your-world-12th-june/

1.  Are you happy in your neighbourhood?

I am fairly happy, there is a good community of people where I live.
2. Have you got good neighbours?

Depends, my ”pigeon neighbours” make a mess of my solar panels, refuse to leave, even though I have put netting around them and spikes, and wake me up early in the morning. My neighbours don’t really interact that much. We speak when we are walking the dogs and have a chat sometimes. My new neighbour, does not like the pigeons, and has many ideas on how we can make them move on.
3. Are your neighbours nosy or standoffish?

Definitely nosy, when I was having my solar panels cleaned, they were chatting with the roofers. Although our first company were more of a ”Del Boy” operation, finding work that didn’t need doing.
4. Could you rely on your neighbour in an emergency?

Probably.

Gratitude:
I am living comfortably, without the worry of a mortgage. I am safe, warm, and have my family living around me. Whatever we are going through, we will never be alone.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Lovely gratitude Diana. Thanks for joining in this week. I suppose I might be considered nosy as we see a lot that goes on in our street, and are always chatting to people as they go by. A lady down the road wanted to know how we knew so many people as she’d been here 25 years and other than her immediate neighbours, knew no-one. I said it was because of the dog and how dogs are always good ice breakers (provided they don’t fight!)
