Synopsis

This is my attempt at a synopsis for my book Orvieto – What do you think?

Family has always been important to Sarah. Her mum, protects, loves, and gives her the strength she needed to overcome the biggest hurdle in her life. Cancer.  Mama deserves love too; A letter sent to her Aunty Bella in Orvieto, and Sarah receives a reply; with two plane tickets. Mama cannot face going home without her papa’s forgiveness. ‘I cannot be ashamed for giving birth to my son,’ she says.

With two letters; one for Bella and one for her grandpapa, Sarah travels Orvieto. Can she heal a past hurt? Will the hostility remain, even when she is able to meet her Grandpapa?

At her first family dinner, she meets Antonio. A friendship she didn’t expect to happen, gives an unexpected turn. Should she choose love or friendship?  A closeness she doesn’t want to ruin. if she admits to falling in love. Does he have secrets of his own? Her cousin, destined to make the same mistakes, with a boy she met the previous year.

Love, life, family, is Sarah strong enough to face them all?
