Change

1.  Do you like change? I don’t like change, not in my routine anyway. It unsettles me when something is out of the ordinary. I’m not sure whether it is because I have autistic traits (it runs in my family) or it is just me. I prefer having a little bit of time to get used to the change, then I am okay.
2.  Can you remember the last time you had to use an operator service? I haven’t used them, but I know what they are.
3.  What is the best and worst ‘hold’ music you have had to listen to? They are all awful, and I don’t remember any.
4.   Do you find numerous ‘options’ annoying when connected to an automated service? It is annoying; the main reason is now most things are not even operators but computers giving generic answers. I will say ”I want to speak to an advisor” because I prefer the human interaction for a problem. It costs a lot to hang on, and as I am limited on how long I can hold on, it can be expensive.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Thanks for taking part Diana. The hold and options drive me nuts sometimes, especially when a machine doesn’t understand you! As for hold music, I remember the horrendous bing bong Greensleeves but the best was a compilation of popular ballads and quite relaxing to listen to.
