Halloween

Do I like Halloween – It is growing on me. My daughter is Halloween mad, and every year we take trips to T K Max, where she tries to persuade me to add to her large collection of spooky things. This year it is a bone dinosaur called Terry the T Rex. She loves a bargain and managed to get money off. He still looks rather sorry for himself, but she will fix it.

I will go out with my daughter and granddaughter. This year’s them is witches. Mum has gone all out on her costume. Her daughter’s was brought by her dad. I’m not sure I have the courage to dress up. Especially since, working in a school, I might be seen by the kids from my school.

My granddaughter does really well each year, and it won’t be any different this year. Lots of sweets, and spooky tricks or treats. We are making good memories, and even if I’m not totally into this time of year, I enjoying seeing my daughter and granddaughter smile.
