Catastrophe

What is my name? Dogsbody or what? I am the queen, a purfect example of royalty. These paws weren’t meant for general labour. How else will I get my fur in such gorgeous condition.

Mind you, these handsome creatures are delicious, like they were picked for greatness. Not your general moggy, I can tell you. Just the cream de le cream.

This queen on my right, Tabitha the Great, is the cream of the crop. She was the first kitty cat allowed in the houses of parliament. Her lineage, and subsequent children, are all feline faces of grace. Did you know she owns over seven thousand cat bowls. One is diamond encrusted – oh how the other cats live.

The handsome feller on the right is the prime minister of Great Britain. His laws about dogs not going out after curfew, meowzing. Our army of Tigers helps though – nobody will mess with them. One bite, and any dog would run away in fear.

So, here I am, looking around for a dog to do my dirty work – ah yes, over there, ”Here boy, here boy, help a girl out won’t you. Hang these pictures up, and you will get a nice piece of chicken as a bonus.’

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
