Dave’s hand covered the bible, as he read his statement. It wasn’t like he was a believer – there was nothing to feel guilty about. This evil predator deserved to be in prison. What did it matter he was innocent of this crime? There were many other women who suffered at his hands.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. It’s interesting that he searched the Bible for the answers and still concluded that he wasn’t doing anything wrong. As far as he was concerned the man was evil and it didn’t matter that he wasn’t guilty of this crime. A very thought provoking story, Diana.

  2. You’re welcome. He was making what he believed was the right decision. I’m just wondering about the person who really committed the crime and what happens if he or she commits another because the wrong person was accused of it.
