5: Lilac-Breasted Roller – It is a new roller used to paint lilac walls. When you get past the age of sixty, your brain only sees that colour pallet.

7. Halitrephes Jelly – A jelly served to adults, which helps translate teenager’s slang.
8. Pacu – A dad who is queuing at the shops.
9. In teenage slang, ‘‘Gobi Jerboa’’ is a rough translation for someone who talks too much, like a gerbil at night.
10. Aye-Aye – In Shakespeare’s time, glasses were called Aye-Aye.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
