1. What is your idea of a good holiday? Seeing the sights, lazing on a beach, hitting the night spots, getting away from it all? Spending it with my family is my idea of a good holiday. Since my children were young, we have always gone on holiday as a family. Now my children are grown up, and I have two grandchildren. One is four and the other sixteen. We go to farms, donkey sanctuaries, Sea Life, zoos, activity places. We do go on the beach, but that tends to be at the end of the day. My dog Titan loves running into the waves. Although, he gulps down more salt water than he should. My daughter will always collect shells, or go crabbing with her friends. At night we play board games. Last year we played Cheater’s Monopoly and I found out my son is quite accomplished in telling tall tales.

2. You are offered tickets to a show. Which would you prefer, Opera, Play, Cinema, Entertainment, Ice Gala, something else? I would love to see Bon Jovi live. I have always loved this singer.

3. Have you ever won a sports trophy (or something similar for a particular achievement) I’m not sporty and the only thing I won was a silver medal for ballroom dancing. I was eight year’s old and came second. I didn’t keep it up because I was made to dance with a five-year-old and I was eight. Far too grown up lol.

4. What is your dream car (fact or fictional) My favourite car is the Grand Torino, which was driven by Starsky. I adored this show and the person who played Starsky. Paul Michael Glaser. My dream of marrying him never happened.

Gratitude: When you get to live another day, it is another chance at life.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

      1. I loved to play Monopoly and my friend was pretty good too. We were invent loans for each other rather than have to mortgage properties, and gang up on the guys, making them bankrupt instead!
