Going on a shopping spree

all with a dodgy knee

lots of presents I can see

in every shop window.

Packages put in my sack

there is pain in my back

I’ll need to go on a rack

to get rid of the ache.

Home again, it is so sweet

there is throbbing in my feet

this shopping lark has me beat

until next year, that is.
