‘Well, it depends on what you want me to do,’ Peter said.

‘Can you go to town with me? I need to buy new boots. I could do with some advice.’

‘Last month, it was ten o’clock before we got back. Then you chose the first pair.’

‘Please, I’ll treat you to a caramel latte and cake.’

With a deep sigh, he nodded. They were best friends, and she joined him on a double date just to prevent him being axe murderer material. They spent all evening chatting, but at least a second meeting was on the horizon.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
